There was concern at the onset of winter about what direction the photography would take, but surprisingly nature never disappointed through the cold days.

The lakes offered a continuing transformation of ice and light and throughout the seasons of the year,

the ever-changing qualities and appearance of water has remained my main area of fascination.

My excitement about nature photography not only includes my love of water, but the increased enjoyment of watching beautiful birds stopping for a visit while I’m wandering along in the blustery cold.

Once the warm weather finally arrives on a consistent basis, I’m hoping to not only continue my wandering through nature, but also on the city streets and add a little city and street photography into the mix.
