The summer days are flying by.
Some days have been a blur.
Other days have been batshit crazy.
Barely a day goes by without expressing a strong dislike for deer flies.
Many a day I have wondered about the fine line between bird watching and bird stalking.
The great blue heron kindly reminds me quite often that I have definitely crossed the line!!

Thank you and if the bat would start eliminating the deer flies around the yard, I might be willing to stop thinking about fall and football.🙂

Thank you!🙂 I love when the deer visit, but I do worry about the deer ticks. We have been lucky so far and have not encountered any problems. Unfortunately, the deer flies make their presence known daily.
