After two weeks of standing outdoors on various occasions freezing with the birds, it was finally time to shoot through the window at a lovely winter visitor while enjoying a hot cup of coffee and Gabby barking very loudly at my elbow.

Thank you!🙂 When I looked out the window I was surprised to see a robin chasing a bluebird around the tree. Neither are normal visitors this time of year and, while the robin has returned, it appears he scared away the bluebird.🙂

Thank you and birds on the next block can hear Gabby!🙂 I have no idea what this lone robin is doing here at this time of year, but, after this cold spell, I’m hoping it’s a sign of an early spring.😁
