    That’s so funny, for the last 24 hrs. I’ve had “You Picked a Fine Time to Leave Me Lucille” stuck in my head. 😀 And I have absolutely no idea why. Now you’ve given me a new Kenny tune to sing! Cool picture.

    Oh man that song brings back memories! My parents loved Kenny Rogers (and Dolly Parton). It was the only music we were ‘allowed’ to listen to when we traveled across the countryside! Good times!

      I had a few songs I thought of when I shot this photo and I was surprised that I chose one of my parents songs. All those years of them shaking their head about my music and now I’m blogging about their music.😁 Thanks for sharing the memories, I had to listen to Islands in the Stream after your comment.🙂

      Thank you!🙂 I have always stayed away from the poker tables, but I love blackjack. I was surprised that after listening to poker songs from some of my favorites, that the best song was one that I probably complained about back in the day when my parents listened to Kenny Rogers.🙂

    Great advice from Kenny Rogers: Know when to walk away, know when to run. Thanks for this fun song and post, ACI, and actually it’s wise advice. Love the royal purple photo too, I think it’s an ice sculpture, which blows me away…so extraordinary.
