Thank you!🙂 As I was looking out across the ice yesterday morning I was struck by the complete silence. It was too early for the birds to be out singing and not one cracking or popping sound was heard on the lake after the recent thaw.🙂

You’ve really caught the icy beauty of thin lake ice in the early dawn – wonderful!
Stephen King writes so well about the thin veneers of reality. I enjoy most of what he writes (maybe not the books he wrote when he was altering his reality through heavy drinking, but sober King is often an enjoyable read!)

Thank you!🙂 I was up early hoping to find a good location for the supermoon this week, but instead of finding a location I was lucky enough to see a beautiful sunrise. It was tv and the movies that finally brought me to reading Stephen King. After watching Brendan Gleeson (another favorite) in Mr. Mercedes and Idris Elba in Dark Tower, I thought it was time to finally read a few of his books and so far I’ve enjoyed them.🙂
