  2. I’ve never seen a chipmunk that color; where did you see it? In Princeton, NJ and in Larchmont NY I have seen black squirrels, but I’ve never seen one in my neighborhood.

    1. Thank you!πŸ™‚ I was just complaining the other day about the squirrels being out of control, but after his beautiful pose and catching that reflection, I told them they could have as many peanuts as they want.😁

  7. I have never seen a Black Squirrel before. Some grey ones down in the Central Illinois area but they are very isolated to just a few areas. Pictures are fabulous as always.

    1. Thank you and I’m glad I could share one of our backyard visitors!πŸ™‚ We currently have a large family of black and gray squirrels that have been enjoying themselves in our backyard all winter. It is very unusual for one of them to remain by the bird feeder when I’m outside and continue snacking while I approach the bird feeder.πŸ™‚

  9. Love the title and how you brought different reflections to us in these many forms. The black squirrel is so elegant. I always like the almond-shaped eyes of squirrels, but this black one, with its reflections, is especially stunning.

    1. Thank you!πŸ™‚ I enjoy trying to capture reflection shots and loved the squirrel’s eyes.πŸ™‚ I just checked the bird feeder and the black and gray squirrels are enjoying their morning peanuts and chasing each other around the tree. Of course, Gabby just discovered this too and is busy barking her morning greeting.😁
