    1. I love watching the beautiful blue jays and Iโ€™m not sure how many he can cram into his beak, but I can guarantee you that he has never taken just one peanut.๐Ÿ˜

  2. That little blue beauty has the right attitude. Fill up while you have the chance. H-m-m-m, that’s my attitude, too. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. He visits occasionally if there is only birdseed available, but appears immediately for the peanuts. Iโ€™m still thinking about your homemade apple pie.๐Ÿ™‚

    1. No wonder the peanuts disappear so fast when they are around! I have been mistakenly blaming the squirrels for eating all the peanuts.๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Wonderful shots! ๐Ÿ™‚ I keep pet parrots and would recommend feeding sunflower seeds and other things besides peanuts. Even human grade peanuts can have (and often do have) Aspergillus mold residue on them that can cause death very easily in birds.

    1. Thank you!๐Ÿ™‚ We always have black oil sunflower seeds and suet cakes available and I had no idea peanuts could be a problem. Thank you for the information.

  8. What a cheeky little visitor, taking as much as his little beak can fit. Still, he’ll be hungry and glad there’s still grub about in the snow. Beautiful pictures.
