Thank you!🙂 It was wonderful to watch the herons building their nests at a rookery for the first time and I wish I could have stayed there all day. I have no idea why, but during sad and stressful times I’ve never been able to lose myself in a book or binge watch tv shows in order to not think. I think I’ve tried to read a dozen books lately. I’ve discovered that a few hours outdoors watching the wildlife with my camera is a great escape and there is always something there to smile about.🙂

Thank you!🙂 I wish I had been able to return today, it was finally a perfect spring day with sunshine and seventy degrees (too windy to kayak). I will now have to wait for a return visit after the next round of rain and snow.🙂

Thank you!🙂 That was my first visit to one and, as an introvert, all I could think was how much room was available in the rest of that tree and the surrounding trees. I’ve never seen two together while kayaking and compared to the distance between nests for swans and cranes on the lake, it was amazing to watch them nesting together.🙂
