    1. Thank you!๐Ÿ™‚ When I spotted the mallard there was not another person or bird in sight and I was very glad my presence did not disturb his solitude.๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thank you!๐Ÿ™‚ Whenever Iโ€™ve been out this week Iโ€™ve been on the lookout for color and I finally spotted some daffodils today and the tulips should bloom soon. The trees are a little behind schedule this year. I hope spring has arrived in your area and enjoy your weekend!๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thank you!๐Ÿ™‚ Iโ€™ve spotted three swan nests again this year and it looks like the geese nests have doubled. The lake might be crowded this summer.๐Ÿ˜

  7. I feel like taking a deep breathe and relaxing when I see photos like yours. They are uplifting after a difficult winter in the Northeast.

  8. Fantastic week in wildlife. Wow, great photos, ACI. You caught the softness of the cottontail and the coldness but warming trend of your reluctant spring. Enjoyed the stately poses of the nesting goose and swan. Capturing the buffleheads in flight is rare, so I really loved seeing this. But it was the dazzle of the mallard on one leg on the fence (header and last photos) that really knocked my socks off. Thanks for sharing the beauties of your week.

    1. Thank you!๐Ÿ™‚ I love photographing the wildlife while kayaking, but this week the highlight was the mallard. He was the only bird in sight when Gabby and I arrived at the lake. After weeks of having ducks immediately fly away, it was a wonderful surprise to find a duck willing to share the solitude. He was a little curious when we walked closer to the dock, but I think he was enjoying the peaceful scene too much to move.๐Ÿ™‚
