For the last few weeks there have been three hummingbirds fighting for position at the hummingbird feeder and while I have managed to capture photos of one, I thought it would be a fluke to capture photos of two or more as they chased each other away. Imagine my surprise to watch two together and it’s so much fun to share a moment with the birds.

Wonderful to see the hummingbirds, hear your photographing story, and be matched with the famous Meatloaf song. Your creativity is such a joy, ACI. Who else would match hummingbirds with Meatloaf so well? As for these three hummingbirds, it looks like these two might be sisters, and the third hummer you speak of is probably a male competitor who was elsewhere at the time of the photographing. Sometimes the siblings, especially when they are still young, do not compete.
I love these little characters, always fun to watch! A slice of Meat Loaf is ok every once in a while…
Spurs were schooled by Liverpool, and a gap is starting to appear. Everton play West Ham tomorrow, a game they should win if the standings are a guide, so here comes a banana skin!

Definitely love the hummingbirds more than a slice of Meat Loaf, but this song has always been a favorite. I can’t believe I set my alarm for the Tottenham match and they looked like they were asleep on the field. Even though I have scarfs for both teams, I definitely learned today that I am more of a Spurs fan than Liverpool. Manchester United looked good today and I haven’t had a chance to watch Everton yet and will have to see if they are showing the game tomorrow. Other than making terrible French toast trying to cook while watching my team lose, the weekend is going well.😁
