Weekend Watching

After an early winter, we watched the rain arrive and melt away the remaining snow and ice, but another snow storm is on its way today.

After the brutal 62-39 loss by Michigan to Ohio State, we needed something to laugh about and the movie Tag had us laughing until the next game and

thankfully the football world was glowing again after Notre Dame’s 24-17 win over USC.

The holiday decorations finally made it out of the boxes and the Christmas movie season began with watching my favorite holiday movie, Love Actually, and tv special, Frosty The Snowman, as we decorated the tree.

    Seems Christmas comes early in your house. 😀 But as it is snowing outside, it makes a lot of sense! 🙂

      I was happy to see winter return today and it’s still snowing!❄️😁 I’ve always loved decorating the Christmas tree since childhood.🎄😁

    We still have snow, but we, too, had rain. Ugh! Mainers hate rain in winter. What a mess! Delightful decorations. Are they in your house?

      Everything looks beautiful today covered in snow and I’m not going to think about the rain forecast for this weekend.😁 I wish the decorations were at my house, but this was a holiday window display on Main Street.🙂

        Ah, well! I was thinking of using some old skates we have, but I don’t have an old wooden sled to hang them from.

        I’m thinking of hanging the skates from our deck railing, near a winter arrangement I plan to do. We’ll see.

    I get a kick out of how enthusiastic you are about the holidays every year, ACI. Your spirited enthusiasm gives me a nice smile, and I love all the cheerful decorations you have.       Thank you!🙂 I still enjoy the parks during winter, but in December I love walking through the towns and enjoying the holiday window displays, lights and hopefully some Christmas music and caroling. There was a thought to hold off on the holiday photos and Christmas music until December, but Gabby overruled me.😁 Have a wonderful week!🙂

      It’s beautiful outside and we are in full holiday/winter mode!🎄❄️😁 Should be in a great mood through the end of the year celebrating Notre Dame in the College Football Playoff!🏈😁 I plan on wearing my lucky Notre Dame hoodie for extra luck in the Man Utd matches and they may be able to move up this weekend with Everton in a tough match-up with Liverpool.😁
