    1. Thank you!🙂 We’re Michigan State Spartans fans and I’m hoping we forget the result of her first big game.😁

      1. There is always next year. The NCAA tournament is always fun. I’m not much of a basketball fan, but I did catch the last bit of a Toronto Raptors game on TV. It was pretty exciting I must admit. And they won!

    1. Thank you!🙂 We are having a marvelous time getting to know each other and it’s wonderful to have her in our home. She’s keeping me very busy watching her as she’s roaming around and playing and thankfully puppies need a lot of sleep after all that playing.😁

      1. Puppies are a handful, for sure. Is she house trained yet? That’s always the tough part, and making it through the night.

  11. I’m sorry to mention this but didn’t you have a different dog awhile ago?

    1. We lost Gabby to a sudden illness in January . I thought I would wait longer before looking for a new friend, but my niece could not take seeing me without a dog and convinced me to look and we found Harper that day. I forgot what a puppy was like, but she’s so adorable and it’s wonderful watching her feisty Yorkie attitude emerge.

      1. I found the post. Sorry to hear she passed, plus you must of been feeling very challenged with your own illness.
        Harper will cheer your heart.

      2. Between the loss of Gabby and my health issues it has been a difficult year, but Harper has definitely cheered me up and kept me very busy. Definitely not the best time to have a puppy when you’re dealing with back issues, but since I made the mistake of not having surgery immediately, hoping things would improve, I’ll be dealing with the nerve issues for some time and the best thing for it is to stay active and she is making sure that happens. I was thrilled to finally go kayaking last week without any problems and hope to have Harper out there with me sometime this summer.

      3. Harper is worth his weight in gold! A friend of mine takes her Jack Russell with her kayaking all the time!
