Monday Musings

We had a convergence of the seasons this weekend with winter joining fall.

Not only did the weather crash the Halloween parties,

but Christmas also crashed the party with decorations everywhere and the continued debate if it’s all too soon when my favorite radio station changed it’s format from the 80’s to Christmas music on November 1st. ย Probably not a surprise that it’s not too soon for me and that Harper is already listening to her first season of all my favorite Christmas songs blasting on the radio

while possibly dreaming please wake me when it’s over.

ย Harper and her friends adjusted quickly to the first snowfall and while I thought she would not like the snow, for some reason she thinks it’s fun to eat the snow even if her friends thought it was a bit strange.

    1. Thank you!๐Ÿ˜ Harper loves my niece who bought the outfit and toy, so she was on her best behavior for her.๐Ÿ˜

  2. Woo-hoo! You beat us. No snow in central Maine yet. In fact, we just got our first hard frost. As always, Harper is utterly adorable.

  3. Gosh, she is so adorable! So I don’t grow weary of it, I think I’ll wait until after Thanksgiving to think about Christmas. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Lovely photos showing fall and the sugar-dusting. I love the header (and second) photo. One for the portfolio. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. Thank you!๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜ So far Harper appears to enjoy the snow and music more than modeling and her first sighting of the turkeys who returned today to hide out through Thanksgiving. Hard to believe that big bark belongs to my sweet little dog. I wish the snow had lasted a little longer for more photos and itโ€™s exciting to be working on my portfolio!๐Ÿ˜

      1. No worries, they will be more snow before we’re finished. ๐Ÿ˜‰ A friend who got a new Yorkie about the same time as you got Harper, says the same thing…where’d that bark come from? Citronella collar, perhaps? ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. Great seasonal mix photographs, and it seems like winter will be very appealing to Harper (or sheโ€™ll sleep right through it!)

    1. Thank you!๐Ÿ™‚ She reacted to the snow happily compared to rain, leaves and that hat, which she would have happily thrown on the floor to celebrate the Capitals hat trick against Calgary!๐Ÿ˜

  8. Winter is coming before autumn’s chased it away, hopefully Harper will not be too confused. What beautiful colours there.

    1. Thank you!๐Ÿ™‚ The snow disappeared quickly unlike the unusual cold temperatures that are here for a few weeks that now has Harper shivering and considering wearing a coat and hat.๐Ÿ™‚
