The Week In Seven Photos

My favorite season abruptly had the door closed on it as

winter actually slammed the door on autumn with a record-setting November appearance.

There are many things to love about the first beautiful snowstorm, even if it arrives in the wrong season, the wonderful blue skies surrounding the snow covered trees, all the birds visiting throughout the day,

and the animals getting their first snowface of the season. Β Unfortunately, not everyone was excited about this ritual and it had some eventually refusing to go outdoors

while the surprise storm left others with their heads spinning in disbelief.

Everybody is always a little happier once the snow is cleared away, especially

Harper who finally enjoyed the snow for a very brief moment once her area was cleared.

  1. Oh, sweet Harper! Like many of us, she’ll be counting the days until spring.

  3. Such beautiful scenery – even if it is a little early!
Love that bird – a Red Cardinal? – A triangle squatting on the branch! πŸ˜€
And poor little Harper – she is so low to the ground it must be freezing! πŸ˜€

    1. Thank you!πŸ™‚ I’m always amazed at the number of cardinals that appear on snow days. There have been a few phases to Harper’s first early winter from refusing to go outdoors and then shivering and racing back indoors, but the last two days she has actually wanted to explore and then race back indoors.😁

  6. At least snow makes everything so clean, shiny and beautiful, even if it’s freezing and winter has come early.
