      Thank you!🙂 With the Great Lakes water levels possibly setting records this year there may be more people than usual on the inland lakes, and hanging out at our great Metroparks, as their water levels are monitored and adjusted.🙂

        I see, thanks for the clarification. I read about the high water last year some time. It’s been so low that folks couldn’t get their boats into the canals and in front of the homes. Not now. I hope there’s no flooding! I used to boat up and down the Saint Claire River, great fun.

        Love the Lake St. Clair area and there’s already worry about some marinas and beaches not being able to open this year on the Great Lakes due to the water levels.

        Amazing, after years of low levels. Ten thousand years after the Glaciers retreated north, these beautiful lakes still exist!

      I was not expecting to see the sandhill cranes at the park this early, but maybe they arrived with the spring weather. Saw the first chipmunk of the year, but the herons did not fly in with the cranes and the rookery is still empty.🙂

      Thank you!🙂 It was a very peaceful scene throughout the park, until the cranes decided to let everyone in the area know they were back with their very loud squawking.🙂
