The Week In Seven Photos – 50 Word Story

Turning the corner into October

I thought the weekly theme would transition to fall colors,

Halloween decorations and pumpkins,

never imagining that the actual horror show would be the first presidential debate.

We were making strides calming Harper’s nerves

with peaceful scenes,

but now we’re both suffering from sensory overload.

  1. Loving those beautiful fall colours! 😀
And little Harper looking more like a Teddy Bear every time I see her! 😀
Fortunately, I am managing to miss all your political stuff. 😀

    1. 😁Thank you!🐾😁 It’s really beginning to feel and look like fall and with the cold temps the leaves were changing as fast as some were falling.🙂

    1. 😁She’s usually rather cautious on our walks and that was the first day she ran around on her leash.😁

    1. That was new and surprising, I almost dropped my camera in shock.😁

  4. Harper doesn’t seem too spooked by the scary decorations. Still, has she seen the president on telly yet?

    1. She’s boycotted another park and I still have no idea what scared her, so I was extremely surprised she decided to enjoy this outing. We have all determined it’s best to have the parental controls on all news channels.😁

  5. I appreciate the colour and humour you’ve found – with Harper’s assistance – in what has seemed a long and dark week.
Take care out there, you never know what’s lurking behind the fence! Well, the size of some of those things, you do know what’s there!

    1. Thank you!🙂 My head is still spinning and it looks like the chaos is going to continue all the way to Election Day. I’ve always believed in those great Jimmy Buffett lyrics “if we couldn’t laugh we would all go insane,” but Harper has let me know she doesn’t always appreciate my sense of humor.🙂
