The Week In Seven Photos

With sunshine and temps in the 60s this week we were busy looking at the trees

and flower beds for signs of spring,

but it takes a little longer in these northern woods for some signs of spring to arrive.

Finally seeing thin layers of ice

and water along the shore

while hoping the turkeys are counting down the days until they move to their summer home.

One of my favorite weeks of the year is arriving with NCAA Mens Basketball Conference Championships, Selection Sunday, St. Patrick’s Day and the fabulous first weekend of the March Madness Basketball Tournament, so Harper has decided that whatever time I have available will be spent spoiling her and we will be taking a break and returning to blogging on March 24.

  1. As the photos show, spring is on the way! Enjoy the basketball weekend. No hope for my teams, but at least Kentucky was put to rest.

  3. Yes, for those of us who live in the north, Spring tip-toes in slowly. I really like the curl of snow on the bench. Enjoy your break! We’ll miss you.

    1. Thank you!!🙂 It took all week with a day of over 70 degrees for the snow banks and most of the ice on the lakes to finally disappear.🙂
