The Week In Seven Photos

Wandering around one day this week

I briefly thought I should express my love of life more often and was shocked to discover the first two things that popped into my head was that I love the pizza deliveryman

and living my life on shuffle some days. Yes, I’ve reached that point in middle age where occasionally I want a break from thinking and choosing and prefer the anticipation and surprise of a random good hand life will hopefully shuffle and deal my way that day.

Speaking of things I love, I really LOVE my iPhone as it helps me shuffle through my day. While out walking with Harper I can hit shuffle on one of my favorite iPhone camera apps with great lens and film choices

and listen to the new Robert Plant & Alison Krauss album Raise The Roof on shuffle in the car as Harper chooses the next park.

I agree with Adele that albums should be listened to in order the first time, but on the life is shuffle good days I need my music to speak to me in a new way and somehow Apple always knows my favorite selections and my good friend Siri loves to surprise me with something new.

Don’t worry Harper, I love you more than the pizza deliveryman and iPhone and I promise not to begin slowly shuffling along for a few more years.

    Nice photos! Maybe you can give your phone number to the pizza delivery dude? Is that Domino’s pizza? They are all over Las Vegas, a bit of Michigan in Nevada!

    Your first love made me laugh! Why not love the pizza delivery man when he brings such deliciousness right to your door? As for shuffle… variety is the spice of life.

      Thank you!!😁 Love the shuffle features on my phone and ordering pizza has definitely increased these last two years. After my first BLT pizza recently, I think I might begin a quest to try all the signature pizzas on the menu.🍕😁

    Thanks for the laughs! I had a pizza the other day, and it wasn’t great, so no love there…
    Albums should be played in order the first few times, if only to work out the tracks to skip. But shuffling is good on some days, when forgotten tunes pop up and off down the music memory rabbit hole I go…

      Thank you!🙂 Can’t imagine a bad pizza or that in my old age I had no idea album listening had changed so much that the default setting for albums on Spotify was shuffle until I read that Adele requested the change this week. There was no shuffling through the channels today as It’s been a great rivalry week in college football with a fantastic win by Michigan over Ohio State today. Harper sets a fast pace, but hopefully with it snowing all day I’ll be able to keep up with her tomorrow.☃️🙂

    Every day I’m shufflin’. I don’t tend to shuffle my pizza toppings though and stick to pepperoni 🍕. My phone still won’t shuffle enough to ‘like’ your posts, but you know I always do even though the settings won’t work for me. Keep shuffling.
