The Week In Seven Photos

After blogging for over seven years and recently finishing my first 365 days of blogging challenge, I’ve noticed that I may need to hire a ghost writer if Harper doesn’t start coming up with some new material.

I knew I was in trouble once I started using winter and spring in many weekly titles. I’m so mixed up about what season it actually is right now that I may have to simplify things even more.

One may think a break could recharge the creative energy, but I would probably just be off enjoying my favorite bakeries and thinking about starting a 365 days of cupcakes

or macarons challenge.

Took a little road trip this week to an Italian market, that instantly became a favorite,

and if spring fails to return

I’m definitely starting an Italian wine and cannoli challenge.

  2. It has been a crazy week of weather. With fresh snow on the ground, it sure does not feel like spring this morning. 😁

    1. We went from the wind advisory to rain, sleet and snow today and my niece is refusing to go check on the heron nests this weekend because it’s too cold!😁

      1. A 365 wine challenge should give some interesting results. Haper hang on tight this could be a bumpy ride 🍷 🍷 🐾 🐾

      2. 😁😁😁. After further research, the idea of a boozy dessert and wine challenge sounds fantastic!🧁🍷 Harper is very happy with the plan and thinks I should have another glass if it means no more cold early morning walks.🐾😁

  7. I think you can run several 365 day challenges in parallel, making that part of the challenge…
The cupcakes look good, your weather looks terrible, and I’ve a hankering for spaghetti and/or a visit to an Italian market. Preferably in Italy.
We just got our internet hooked up in our new place – I’d been hoping to have a delay so I don’t find out how Everton fare tomorrow until later in the week…
I hope your weekend is going well!

    1. While I’m already making plans for a return trip to the Italian market, I have no idea what direction the blog is headed! So far I haven’t been able to think beyond wine and cupcakes. Wonderful to hear you’ve moved to your new place and hopefully you won’t notice the Everton score in all the excitement. Already looking forward to the 2022 World Cup matches and good to see Canada in the tournament.🙂
