- Bryce Harper solo home run to right-center field.
- Bryce Harper’s home run was his 3rd Opening Day home run.
- Washington Nationals awarded the 2018 All-Star game.
- Watched today’s game on ESPN, but thanks to MLB.com At Bat I can watch Bryce Harper and the Washington Nationals all season.
- Max Scherzer had a no-hitter going in the sixth inning before things fell apart with a walk, error and a single to give the New York Mets a 2-1 lead and the Mets won the game 3-1.
- Bryce Harper provided the only scoring today and three of the Nationals central players, Jayson Werth, Anthony Rendon, and Denard Span, started the season on the DL. In addition to these players being unavailable at the start of the season, the Nationals no longer have the strong bat of Adam LaRoche who is now playing for the Chicago White Sox. Hopefully, until the players return from the DL, other players will have a hot bat to start the season to coincide with the best pitching rotation in the Major League.
