After a summer of patrolling the waters and keeping the geese and ducks in line, thankfully, the wonderful month of October has arrived and the boaters we have watched from a careful distance are leaving the lake.  For the next few months, the only thing we will be dodging are the falling leaves as we spend our days in our paradise of quiet waters creating ripples and enjoying having the lake to ourselves.
