    1. We have been off to a very gray start this year and with the freezing temperatures you can find a world of silence and solitude at our parks compared to the summer months.

  1. I really enjoyed the haiku, ACI, and the blissful stretch of solitude. As inviting as the bench looks, I don’t think I’d linger too long on a day like this; so it’s nice to linger on the photo.

    1. Thank you and I love the solitude of winter. I’ve always been drawn to empty benches, but I was not tempted to take a seat on that cold day.
