It’s that time of year where I pretend that I cook for a few weeks.  There are so many versions of this old Hank William’s song that I could actually begin a new Tuesday music/cooking theme.  Luckily the sweet potato casserole was delicious, just in case it is my only dish of the season.

      It’s a side, but I’ve discovered with this favorite that I enjoy it as a main dish, side or dessert.😁

    I saw Hank Williams, Jr., sing this song when I was a kid back in the late 60’s when he was still touring, doing his daddy’s songs. Oh and I’ve seen Jimmy Buffett sing it a few times too. 🙂
