Monday Musings

Even though peak fall colors in our area are estimated to be after October 19, I told Harper we should go out for a walk and see what we could discover. Harper is always very excited when she hears the word walk, but that enthusiasm fades rapidly as she would actually prefer to stay home with her toys. Harper thought we were done with our walk after finding a colorful little flower, but I told her we had to continue on

and then she really thought the walk was over after finding a few leaves and tried to drag me back to the car.

I continued to coax her along hoping to see if we could find any color by the river or

surrounding a lovely old church,

but no such luck. Harper was thankful someone heard her prayers and took us down the sidewalk with a display of beautiful leaves covering an old building so she could finally go home and enjoy the rest of her day playing with her toys.

    1. Thank you!πŸΎπŸ™‚ I know she’s very happy at the beginning and end of the walk, but I’m still trying to decipher all her moods in-between.πŸΎπŸ™‚
