First monarch butterfly sighting of the season…caramel pecan pancakes…coffee on Main Street…coffee on the deck…binge watching Justified and Luther…lovely flowers…friendly ducks…trying to turn Harper into a kayaking buddy…the best news of the week is that my mother is having more good days than bad and less pain…

Happy for you – and your mother – that there’s been more good days! As for Harper, she’s clearly a sailor and excellent paddling companion. You won’t be needing a bigger boat! (We watched Jaws last week after it came up in your post – Mrs PC had never seen it before and absolutely loved it!)

Thank you!🙂 I’m hoping Harper begins to love kayaking as much as me, but it could take to the end of the season since she was hiding by my mom when she saw her life jacket. Spielberg is amazing, doesn’t matter how many times I see Jaws or E.T. or how many years go by, the movies continue to be great. I may never watch anything other than Idris and Timothy…at least until football season begins!! Enjoy the weekend!!🐾😎

She’s a smart girl! I looove pancakes and have to have a sugar-free syrup. My sister got a kayak as a gift from me and her daughters this spring, it has pedals and a rudder. It was so fun to try when I was up there! It’s made by Hobe. As in Hobecat. The pedals are removable, you can of course use a paddle too.
