iPhone Journey – Day 21

I spy from the treadmill the turkeys stopping by for a late lunch. I was rather surprised how well the iPhone captured the new family through the blinds and screen. Don’t worry about treadmill iPhone photography becoming a regular thing, after decades of exercise stair steppers, treadmills, bikes and elliptical machines, I will always choose a wonderful walk outdoors, unless Harper refuses to go out on a rainy day.

  1. Nice perspective! Outside exercise is always better than inside exercise, which I find to be oh so tedious.

    1. Thank you and I never look at my watch while walking, but I definitely keep looking at the time left on the treadmill.πŸ™‚

  2. Looks like a late brood for that hen… good thing they are fattening up at your feeder before winter. πŸ™‚

    1. As much as I grumble about them, they’ve been interesting to watch. About ten males have been visiting all summer and over the last month we’ve had the females and young turkeys stopping by. We’ve been worried about those two young ones and are relieved when we spot them in the group.πŸ™‚

      2. Harper has already scared the young ones up into the trees and they did not think it was fun.🐾😁

  4. Harper refuses to go out because she can’t keep up. She’d like her own treadmill!

    1. I think I’ve mentioned it before, but Harper was so quiet until she turned four. If she hears a turkey gobble or crow in the yard she races to the door and let’s them know they should leave and one night she started barking at the sound of an owl, I told her that was never allowed again.πŸΎπŸ™‚
