iPhone Journey – Day 27

I’m not sure exactly how many days it takes to break a habit, but I can hear my Nikon calling my name from the camera bag. While the iPhone easily captured these sandhill cranes trespassing while I was driving on the back roads of Michigan, I think the Nikon is going to be required to try and capture a black-throated blue warbler spotted in the area recently while migrating. Beside the Nikon causing neck pain and numbness, a very serious new dilemma in choosing it over the iPhone is having to leave my coffee in the car. Any chance the little warblers will be attracted to the smell of coffee?!?!

iPhone App: Snapseed

Coffee of the Day: Scooter’s Coffee Pumpkin Caramelicious Latte (extra shot)

  1. I expect these two, after enjoying the fall foliage, will be heading south soon. Farewell!

  2. I can see why the Nikon is calling. Perhaps a combination of camera and phone will give your neck the rest it needs.

  3. They are beautiful birds! There are situations in photography that you must have something more than an iPhone camera. They are darn good cameras today but still have a ways to go to be as good as a Nikon, or my Sony A7C. Have a great new week!
