Detroit Tigers beat the Minnesota Twins 4-0
Watched the game at home so I could watch the Washington Nationals Opening Day game televised on ESPN.
J.D. Martinez’s solo home run.
J.D. Martinez’s home run is the 1st home run in the 2015 Major League Baseball season
David Price throws 8 2/3 scoreless innings.
Alex Avila’s two-run home run.
Yoenis Cespedes’ catch against the fence that robs Kurt Suzuki of a home run in the 3rd inning.
In addition to the great catch, Yoenis Cespedes also had a double and triple in his first game with the Detroit Tigers.
Tigers had 10 hits and 3 stolen bases.
J. K. Simmons, who recently won an Oscar for Best-Supporting Actor in the movie Whiplash, throws out the 1st pitch.
