Bryce Harper Captures NL Player of the Week Honors for Second Straight Week

For the second straight week, Bryce Harper was named the National League Player of the Week and it continues to be a fantastic month for Bryce Harper and the Washington Nationals.  The Nationals (22-17) are within a 1/2 game of the New York Mets and so far in the month of May they are 12-4.  Bryce Harper became the 10th player in the last 40 years to have back-to-back National League Player of the Week honors and during that stretch he had a .564 batting average, .653 on-base percentage, 9 home runs, 22 hits and 22 RBIs.  In addition to his great stats the last two weeks, Harper now leads the National League in home runs (14), walks (36), RBIs (37) and runs (36).  Enjoy the following videos of Harper almost hitting for the cycle on Sunday and highlights of a great week for the Nationals (stats and video from mlb.com):
