Bryce Harper Hits 17th Home Run Against the Cubs and Leads NL All-Star Voting

In the first voting update for the 88th All-Star Game, the two-time Washington Nationals All-Star Bryce Harper is leading all NL players with 1,116,582 votes.  Harper hit his 17th home run of the year last night against the Chicago Cubs and leads the National League with 17 home runs, 40 walks and 40 runs scored and is tied with 42 RBIs.  Harper is currently 5th in the National League in batting, averaging .331, and is first in on-base performance (.467), slugging (.734) and on-base plus slugging (1.200).  In the Washington Nationals series against the Chicago Cubs two young stars of the game, Bryce Harper and Kris Bryant, had a chance to reminisce about growing up and playing against each other in Las Vegas (Interview was on ESPN SportsCenter) and display their incredible talent.  Enjoy the videos of Harper and Bryant (stats and videos from mlb.com).
