After a few days of dealing with the aftermath of fall colors, a computer crash (thank god for backups) and a broken furnace (a new one is needed), today I kind of understand the bad attitude of this swan.  Unfortunately, this swan seems to have a bad attitude all year as he chases away the geese and ducks on a regular basis.  Now that I am thinking about it, maybe the swan does not have a bad attitude, but is an introvert who finds it necessary to clear the crowd every so often.  Thankfully, in between the events of the last few days I have found inspiration from the wonderful blogs I follow, Patti Smith’s new book M Train, and a few interviews I watched on PBS Newshour.
