I think the handsome little guy was tired of waiting for his turn in front of the lens and was about to knock on the door demanding a photo shoot.

I think this cranky little guy was letting me know that, after surviving the downpour, the yard was his and he was not in the mood to share it with my Yorkie, Gabby, who has a tendency to run right at him if she sees him move. Luckily, she has a much better relationship with him than the squirrels and allows him to proceed on his way after checking him out.
