The chances that I will enjoy a movie based on a book I loved reading is similar to the odds of having winter and spring in the same week. Amazingly both occurred this week with an ice storm and temperatures in the 50s and enjoying the movie A Man Called Ove as much as the wonderful book written by Fredrik Backman.

I wish I had received some clarity after finishing the last episode of The OA on Netflix.

If I keep going to movies like Sleepless and XXX: Return of Xander Cage instead of La La Land, how will I ever complete my award season movie quest.

Hoping for big wins by the Packers and Steelers this weekend!!

  1. Oh how I love these icy photos, ACI. The berries and leaves look like they’re glass-encased. Wonderful that unusual and unlikely events of sweetness occurred for you, and I hope the playoff games are a joy as well. I’m really looking forward to tomorrow’s games too, all four are excellent teams. Thanks for sharing your winter joys and beauties~~

    1. Thank you and I’m glad I could share these thoughts and photos from a very unusual month of weather for January. Last Sunday’s games were fantastic and I’m hoping Rodgers and Roethlisberger have great games this week, they will definitely need to against Brady and Ryan.

    1. Thank you! I’m also shocked that Vin Diesel has failed to show up in the Best Actor category for Fast & Furious!! They showed the trailer to The Fate of the Furious, which looks really good. We are now covered with fog instead of ice and the only good thing about that is I’m unable to see all the mud and branches in the yard.
