Winter Photos and Ramblings On Super Bowl Weekend

Some days winter and not having a favorite quarterback in the Super Bowl just weighs you down.

Other days winter can magically transform how you look at everything and almost let you forget how much you miss Brett Favre and Peyton Manning.

He’s not a fan of winter or the Super Bowl and doesn’t want to be bothered until spring!

I don’t know if Billy is a fan of the Super Bowl and whatever happened to Billy Squire?

I will not be happy if Lady Gaga’s halftime show does not include Bad Romance and Born This Way!

It’s hard to believe it was only a week ago when this squirrel was snacking without any snow on the ground.  After trying a new mediterranean restaurant last week, we have added roasted red pepper hommus and pita chips to our Super Bowl snack list.

I thought we agreed we were watching the Puppy Bowl instead of the Super Bowl!!

  1. Thank you for the snow photos (tho I realise you are probably fed up of snow by now!) It is hot and muggy here today!
And I love your little dog in his winter outfit. 🙂

    1. Thank you and I’m glad you enjoyed the snow and my little Yorkie, Gabby. She kindly tolerates my enjoyment of dressing her up as long as she receives a piece of cheese after each photo. I would not mind winter if we received a few more days of blue skies instead of all the gray skies we have had this winter.

      1. I think it is the sameness of a season that tires us out. Here in summer the heat is relentless! A day off with clouds would be lovely! 🙂

      2. I have to admit I prefer the cold over really hot temperatures and I’ll happily trade you a few clouds for more blue skies.

      3. I also prefer the cold, but all in good time I guess. 🙂
I will certainly send you some sunshine though! 🙂

    1. Thank you and I’m glad you enjoyed Gabby’s outfit! This year it is all about the commercials, snacks and halftime show, but the football fan in me is still hoping for a close game.

    1. This year it will probably be more about the snacks, halftime show and new commercials than the football, since it is the rare year where neither team is a favorite of mine. Enjoy your weekend!

  4. I enjoyed your Super Bowl post here, ACI, and Gabby’s photo just made me laugh. I think it’ll be a great game, well-matched, and plenty of athletic feats to impress. I know many people don’t like Tom Brady, but I think he’s an incredible QB. I hope you have some good snacks for Gabby too — have fun!

    1. Thank you and I’m glad Gabby could make you laugh. We are ready for the big game and even if we don’t have a preference for the winner, we’re looking forward to hopefully a close game, a wonderful performance by Lady Gaga and great commercials. Enjoy the game!
