The road calls to some people, but for us homebodies, home is best. 😉

    1. The road often calls to me, but my homebody spirit often ignores it.🙂 This photo was taken at the annual Woodward Dream Cruise that attracts over 40,000 classic cars and for a week Woodward Avenue is lined with fantastic cars and car enthusiasts from all over the globe.

Lots of wonderful literature—The Hobbit comes to mind—explore the tension between the hearth and the road. Travel can be very broadening, but there is no place like home. 😉

Nice capture. And thanks for the gift of Willie this morning! Somewhere hidden in the basement is my Honeysuckle Rose album from the movie of the same name. Brings a smile to my face!

    1. Thank you and what a great collection of songs on that soundtrack!🙂 Your comment triggered a memory of my favorite Willie Nelson song, Mamas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys” that appeared in The Electric Horseman movie.

    1. Thank you!🙂 With the music theme this summer, I had to include this great truck that was part of the annual classic car Woodward Dream Cruise and a classic from Willie Nelson.🙂
