Thank you!π The cardinals rarely visit this bird feeder and I was so glad to see one by the ornaments.π

Thank you and it was beautiful to have the combination of snow, sunshine and blue skies all in one day.π I keep looking at the extended forecast, hoping for more snow for Christmas, and every time I check it changes. Enjoy your weekend!π

Oh, what a pure joy it was to see this week in review, ACI. The fluffy, fresh snow everywhere, weighting down the pine, decorating the decorations. Love the light you captured, too, through the boughs and on the lake. But the one that told a story and induced an audible giggle and then a gasp, was your header photo. I thought, oh how cute the little owl seed food with a little cap on (giggle). Cute to see the flurry of chickadees partaking, and then I wondered, why is the snow falling on the chickadee, and there was the hiding nuthatch. This is when I gasped. All the bird activity here, human joy, and holiday cheer captured in one second. Brilliant, and so fun.
Thank you so much!π I always love the first snow storm of the year when everything is covered with snow and we were lucky to have beautiful blue skies and sunshine all day after the storm. The birds have been fighting the elements this week and I thought they deserved a new treat (I canβt wait for them to finish this one so I can buy one of the other adorable designs). When I first hung the owl it took them a little while to adjust to the change, but soon they were enjoying the new bird seed. The chickadees have adjusted to the decorations and owl quicker than the other birds. I think the nuthatch has been slightly irritated at the decorations and the chickadees and got even with kicking the snow. Soon after, the chickadee must have decided I was responsible for the nuthatchβs attitude and dumped snow on my head while I was standing under the tree taking photos.π
Thank you!π
