The Week In Seven Photos

I don’t miss the extreme cold, but I do miss the frosted windows.

A wonderful start to the day – coffee, deer and sunshine!

The Christmas cactus is blooming.

“I have no idea who placed that bird treat next to me!”

Cheers to having four NFL playoff games this weekend that I actually want to watch!

“Someone needs to go to the store for more carrots!”

Indoor photography project during the January rain.

    1. Thank you!πŸ™‚ After the rain and a sixty five degree change in the weather in one week, I was happy to have it cold and snowy today.β„οΈπŸ™‚

    1. Thank you!πŸ™‚ I was so glad to see the Christmas cactus blooming, it saved me from trying to find a few shots out in the rain in order to make the seven photos this week.πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you!πŸ™‚ All the backyard animals will be enjoying their treats this weekend, but it would be so much easier if we could just order an extra pizza during the big games.😁

    1. With our dreary weather, it was so nice to have the Christmas cactus bloom and the deer visit daily.πŸ™‚

  7. A wonderful week of photos. Christmas cactuses have a mind of their own I have decided. Yours flowers in January, mine always blooms in November. Hmmm, think I should have put cacti, not cactuses!!!

    1. Thank you very much!πŸ™‚ Our Christmas cactus is a late bloomer and has never bloomed before the new year and has been known to wait until February.πŸ™‚

  9. Your winter week was a beautiful one, ACI, thanks so much for the series. I write this on Sunday morning, having watched 2 of the 4 playoff games yesterday, with 2 ahead of me on this day. It is a very fun weekend to have so many playoff games, and I’m with you in having a good ol’ football fest. I get all my exercise and errands done before the games start, and then settle in to the excitement and athleticism. Really enjoyed both Saturday games, looking forward to today’s as well. I enjoyed every photo here, especially the guilty squirrel.

    1. Thank you and I’m glad you enjoyed the photos!πŸ™‚ I just finished watching the unbelievable ending to the Saints/Vikings game and now I am without a team as we head into the conference championships. I was hoping for a Steelers/Saints Super Bowl and it is so difficult for me to say this, but, at this point, I may actually cheer for the Patriots to make it to the Super Bowl.πŸ™‚
