      Thank you!🙂 A group of doves have been visiting for a week and they usually scatter high into the trees when they hear me. I was so happy to finally find one resting on a low branch for a moment.🙂

      Thank you!🙂 It is always difficult for me to capture a photo of the mourning doves and when I spotted one so close all I could think as I was raising the lens was please, please don’t fly away. Thankfully, she waited until right after I took the shot to leave.🙂

    Mourning Doves are so sweet and comical! Unfortunately, which is stupid and sad, crass hunters in our area shoot them (and not with a camera).
