    1. Thank you for the great comment and laugh!😁 I was looking at the icicles while shoveling snow and when I finished I tried many, many, many times to capture the icicles melting and finally after all the disappointing attempts and results, I noticed the hand. The only icicle that looked like this, but for some reason the one I noticed last! I was so relieved when it turned out and I did not have to go outside again.🙂

I have recently been trying to photo swallows flying over my garden. I have taken more than 150 photos so far . . . (Thank goodness for digital!) And while I am in no danger of freezing – it is Jolly hot out there! 😀

      2. I’m glad to hear that I am not the only one taking advantage of the great digital camera features (I took many more than 150 trying to capture an icicle).😁

  2. Wonderfully weird! When I first saw the close-up, I thought it was the arm and hand of an ice sculpture. In a way it is, I suppose.

    1. Thank you!🙂 A week of snow followed by a morning of sleet and rain created a nature icicle sculpture.😁

      1. And you were ready with your camera. To paraphrase Louis Pasteur: Chance only favors the prepared mind.

  3. Well, that brought back many memories of my muddled teenage self – I listened to rock and metal, but was drawn to the androgyny, daft clothes and haircuts of the New Romantics – it’s lovely to look back fondly at those times, thank you!

    1. I’ve really enjoyed trying to combine my love of photography and music and am often surprised at what songs and lyrics strike a chord. I’m glad this song brought back some good memories.🙂
