      Thank you and it is a sandhill crane.🙂 They are very comfortable around people at that park and will walk the paths with you and patiently allow you to take many, many photos.🙂

    A delightful set of photos for this week, ACI, surrounded by the beauties of nature. I am happy to see you were rewarded with sandhill crane visits. You did a great job of demonstrating the chilliness that was helped along with sunshine. The heronry is very special, the dove is a glimpse of sweetness, and the cranes are excellent. Love the colors and position of the preening crane in the last photo. My warmest wishes to you–

      Thank you!🙂 It was a wonderful day at the park and I loved walking with the sandhill cranes. It was fun to watch the herons up in the tree and then look down and see a crane standing next to me. Our weather is all over the place with a surprise snowfall, then seventy degrees and now a cold, rainy weekend on the way. I’m glad you enjoyed the photos and your comments always brighten my day.🙂
