The Week In Seven Photos

The calendar has moved on to the wonderful month of May and each day new signs of spring magically appear.  There are more birds to chase around the lakes and parks, the first blooms are appearing on the flowering trees, bicycles are hitting the streets, Main Street is decorated with flowers, festival season is beginning and the farmers markets are open.  Now the only problem is finding the energy for all of these wonderful things in between watching the Washington Nationals, the basketball playoffs, the hockey playoffs and my favorite season finales on television.

Wonderful pictures of spring, spring, spring. My favorite, though, is of adorable Gabby in the bike pack.

Busy times, in the best possible way! Lovely selection, and Gabby is looking good on that bike.
The hockey play offs have produced some great games in round 2, but it is tiring keeping up with all the O/T and double O/T finishes…
    Enjoy your weekend!

    1. Thank you and we enjoyed our first bike ride of the year!🙂 I’m hoping for a Washington Capitals/Vegas Golden Knights Stanley Cup final matchup and I wish Toronto was still in the playoffs. Enjoy your weekend.🙂

    1. She looked very relaxed by the end of the bike ride, while my knees were telling me I might have went a little too far for the first bike ride of the year.🙂

  4. Gabby looks all too much like Toto in the Wicked Witch’s bicycle basket (on the way to deadly trouble)! But never fear, Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Lion are here! 🙂

Lovely series of images to get us all excited about the colour of spring and nearness of summer (at last 🙂 🙂 )

    1. Thank you!🙂 Somehow we have already moved on to summer over the last week. I hate to admit it after our long winter, but I have actually already complained about the heat.😁

We’re just not used to it. Coming from chilly climates, hot sunshine is sometimes too much. But at least its welcome a bit for a while.
