  1. Lovely photos πŸ™‚
Is that a beaver or an otter – or something else entirely? πŸ˜€

    1. Thank you! I was debating between a beaver or muskrat and I think it is a muskrat.

      1. Oh I didn’t think of muskrat, but you’re probably right. It didn’t quite look like a beaver to me either (not that I’ve ever seen one in the wild!) πŸ˜€

  2. Loved the barn swallow and the age and youth image of the swan and cygnet.

    1. Thank you!πŸ™‚ I was so glad to see the barn swallow taking a rest and posing on the dock. It’s been difficult trying to capture them flying. Gabby was finally feeling better this week and I was able to go out kayaking and check on the swans. So far I’ve seen eight cygnets between two families and I think there is one more family of swans on the lake.πŸ™‚

  3. These really are delightful – they sing of ‘spring!’

    1. Thank you!πŸ™‚ Right now everything looks like spring, but it feels like summer. I added a few new flowers this week that the bees are enjoying.πŸ™‚

  5. Another great collection! And I think you’re right that it is a muskrat rather than beaver – but I’ve mixed them up before…
    Enjoy your weekend!

  6. Oh the turtles πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ and I love the picture of the bee, but another great load of images. It’s so nice to be able to feel that warmer weather after all those months of shivering.

    1. Thank you!πŸ™‚ It was great to see all the turtles out again and most of them chose to pose for photos instead of jumping back into the water.πŸ™‚ We have already moved on to summer and it is going to be in the 90s this weekend. Is it too early to complain about the heat?😁

      1. We had a very sunny few days. Gone now though. Planted my summer bedding in the garden this morning in the rain.

      2. There were a few sprinkles today, but it’s still hot. If this keeps up, I’m starting my countdown to fall.😁
