Photos this week were taken in a dreamy state after watching the Washington Capitals play so amazing against the Vegas Golden Knights.  This post was completed before Game 5 last night and hopefully Friday morning I will be sleeping late after celebrating the Capitals winning the Stanley Cup Championship.  If by some chance they lost last night, at least they will be able to hoist the Cup before for the home crowd when they win on Sunday night.  Let’s hope this dreamy state can continue throughout the summer and fall with the Washington Nationals and my favorite players, Bryce Harper and Max Scherzer.

    1. Thank you!🙂 I lost track during the game of how many times I thought I need to go and delete this post before I jinx the Capitals.🙂 I still thought Vegas had a chance win when the Capitals missed the open net. I don’t think I would have survived overtime. Love watching the Capitals and it was a great playoff season this year with so many great games and a fantastic ending. I’m already looking forward to next year. Now I need baseball, the World Cup and the Tour de France to keep me busy until football starts.🙂

  1. An exciting week for so many reasons. Photos were a joy, as always, ACI. Love the last photo so much, the swallowtail butterfly suspended. And fun to see that sandhill crane who likes hanging out in the park…makes me smile.

    1. Thank you!🙂 It was a great hockey week and the weather was perfect for watching the butterflies, birds and flowers. I enjoyed watching the sandhill crane wander around the park and would have loved to watch longer, but Gabby was getting very impatient since it’s one of her favorite parks to wander around.😁

      1. I’ve written out the entire fixture list and am very excited. The first matches will be played while I’m away in Spain. I hope England can do well, but alas, I fear with their track record, they will not.
