I find it strange that it is not even officially summer yet and I already feel like it is flying by.

The basketball season is over and I hope next season finds LeBron James returning to Cleveland or bringing back a little magic with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Cooking and fashion were often on my mind this week thinking about the incredibly sad loss of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain. Β The Kate Spade oven mitt was the latest addition to my mother’s Kate Spade collection and the Le Creuset skillet was a gift from my mother when I was inspired by Anthony Bourdain to spend more time in the kitchen.

Another hot and humid weekend on the way and it’s time to find someplace cool to hide.

They look like they have never seen a dog in a stroller.

Gabby’s foot continues to heal very slowly, so there will be a few more weeks in socks and the stroller. Β Luckily we live in a society that is very pet-friendly and willing to open their doors and patios to everyone in the family.

A week of remembering a shared love of Kate Spade with my mother and having a few Anthony Bourdain No Reservations and Parts Unknown mini-marathons.

  1. It has been quite the week, one way and another.
I hope you have a pleasant and well shaded weekend, with your World Cup picks doing well and scoring many goals. (The first England game is on Monday…)

    1. All that waiting for an Ovechkin hat trick during the playoffs and all it took was the first game for Ronaldo!!😁 The World Cup is off to a great start and it will be a perfect weekend to stay indoors watching football. Enjoy your weekend!πŸ™‚

  2. Enjoyed the week in photos as always, ACI. I laughed out loud at your comment that the mourning doves looked like they’d never seen a dog in a stroller. Glad to hear Gabby is doing better. Great selection of photos.
