Lovely photo, lovely song.
What memories a song can evoke! While this is a song from my youth, one of the things I like about it was the clarity and strength of Justin Haywoodβs voice. It must also have been 1976/1977 when I was introduced to Jeff Wayneβs βWar of the Worldsβ musical, featuring Justin Hayward. After introducing my sons to it, I was lucky enough to go to a performance with the world tour in 2007, and was again reminded of the strength and quality of Justinβs voice – still clear, still on pitch, although maybe a little thicker. And the memories just came flooding back to when I was my sonsβ ages. Thank you, Lebana, for the memories.
Thank you and Iβm glad the song brought back such wonderful memories.π

Like your message earlier, in a Mission: Impossible style, this will have to self-destruct – I don’t like that song at all, never have…
Still haven’t managed to watch a match on a live broadcast, just highlights, but the Spain-Portugal game looked an absolute belter! Will aim to watch Brazil’s opener tomorrow.
Sometimes we have to listen to music for artistic analysis and add them to a playlist, like Shake It Off by Taylor Swift, for further review under loud conditions.π The Spain-Portugal and the Argentina-Iceland matches were great, but what a difference in stories between Ronaldo and Messi. Itβs going to feel like 100 degrees today, so I will definitely be watching Germany/Mexico and Brazil/Switzerland.π
