      Thank you!🙂 The red-winged blackbirds love this location on the lake. The photos were taken while kayaking and the lily pads always help prevent me from floating away while taking photos.🙂

      Thank you!🙂 Early in the summer the males fly toward me to discourage my presence in the area and it was fun to finally see the whole family together.🙂

        I always try to keep a distance, but this area has a narrow path of water and he’s happy to escort me out of the area.🙂

      The males are usually so vocal and active and the father was so exhausted that he was trying to ignore all the activity of the other birds behind him.😁
