This week included one of those days, that turned into one of those weeks and even though it never fixes anything, since desserts is stressed spelled backwards, it’s always important to know where the closest bakery is located.
During times of stress and worry it’s very important to remember to not actually pull your hair out or
send out those vibes that it might not be safe to be spoken to. Although, it’s best not to be spoken to.
If I had feathers, I probably would have wanted to rip them out with my hair.
Definitely not the week to plan a lunch date.
Although, it would be difficult to pass up lunch with a new favorite friend.
Since these type of days and weeks are also turning into months this year, I think it might be a good idea to just hide for the rest of this year or escape into the world of books, tv shows and football.
So long as there are bakeries turning out fine pastries, all is not lost! Hope your weekend has many good books, decent TV (started Jack Ryan, and enjoyed the first couple of episodes) and your sports team play well!

Thank you!🙂 The dessert was delicious and I immediately binge-watched Jack Ryan and thought the acting and series was great. The first weekend of NFL Sunday Ticket and a new Alex McKnight novel, Dead Man Running, by Steve Hamilton (series is set in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan) should help take my mind off things.

Thank you!🙂 It’s been a difficult year for my family and this was another tough week and, you’re right, dessert always helps along with escaping into a good book.

I really wish the problems and health issues in my family would improve and disappear, but mostly it’s only our coping skills that improve.

Unfortunately, that’s how it is sometimes. My mother had very poor health in the last years of her life. She was quite the trooper, but it was a challenge for all of us.

I’ve always been amazed at the trooper spirit of mothers during the most difficult times.

Two weeks before my mother died, she cooked a big dinner for family and friends. She was really was extraordinary.

Thank you!🙂 It has been a difficult year for my family and while we always hope a new month will help, this week there were more problems and sadness and then two family members with serious health conditions became very ill and Gabby developed another infection in her leg. Thankfully everyone is starting to feel a little better and I hope it is a very quiet weekend.

Great week of photos, and desserts make me feel better too. Of course, my waist doesn’t like them…..but I do! 🙂 Hugs and prayers for a brighter week!

Thank you!🙂 Just walking into a bakery always makes me feel better and I’ve never left one without a selection of desserts. After the stressful week, it helped to have a quiet weekend watching football and the backyard birds.🙂

Never saw the STRESSED in DESSERTS before but maybe that’s why we eat them. Sending happy thoughts for better times to come 🙂 🙂

Thank you!🙂 I can’t imagine a home without desserts and thankfully I haven’t had to make any emergency trips to the bakery this week.🙂
