I was busy searching for birds through the branches hoping they would land in trees surrounded by beautiful fall colors. Some were more cooperative than others and there were those that felt they were colorful enough.
I watched as my celebration drink (a wonderful toasted white chocolate mocha) for the great victories by Notre Dame and Michigan was handed to me in my first Starbucks holiday cup of the year.
I laughed while watching Gabby kick up her heels celebrating the fact that I’m leaving the stroller in the Jeep and finally letting her walk through the parks.
I watched the last sunset of daylight savings time praying that Gabby’s internal clock will soon be reset.
It was raining leaves over the weekend and with more rain and snow showers on the way, this may have been the last weekend for watching great fall colors.
Watched the news over the weekend wondering what path the voters are going to choose on Tuesday.
So That’s what a holiday cup looks like! 😀
Happy little Gabby!
And those fall colours are magnificent. I’m going to miss them.

Thank you!😁 Gabby was thrilled to be running through the leaves and she is going to be really surprised to be running through the snow by the end of the week. I’m hoping for one more weekend of beautiful fall colors covered in snow. 🍂❄️😁

You do seem to get snow quite early! When I lived in the north of England, it would mostly snow in January – if at all.
But I am sure Gabby will have fun running free, whatever she is running through. 🙂

Thank you!🙂 We loved the beautiful fall day at the park and Gabby was thrilled to roam around. The cardinals are a favorite and I always love when they stop long enough for photo.🙂

That path is certainly a great metaphor for tomorrow. Soon we will know. On another subject, so great to see Gabby kicking up her heels. Yay!!!!

Thank you!🙂 I’m hoping the beautiful leaves survive the wind and rain tomorrow so I can try to capture them covered in snow next weekend.🙂

Thank you!🙂 She ran through every pile of leaves and I had to be careful of the flying leaves and dirt with all the kicking.😁

There’s nothing quite like running through leaf-piles 🙂

That’s always my thought at the beginning of autumn, but now I’m thrilled all the leaf piles are gone after our final fall cleanup.😁
