The classic cars are out everywhere all summer long in Michigan, but there is one special day in August where over 40,000 classic cars and hot rods are cruisin’

together on Woodward Avenue for the annual Dream Cruise.

It’s that one day of the year that everyone is happy to be stuck in a traffic jam with fabulous classic cars

and nobody cares about the price of gas as they are cruisin’ from Pontiac to Ferndale.

The birds even wanted to join this year and

actually there were a few Jimmy Buffett Parrotheads admiring the cars on Old Woodward, but

Harper was happy to be home in the air conditioning since she’s not a fan of loud noises and

there were plenty of engines that would catch your attention.

    1. I love Dream Cruise week and have a long wish list of classic cars that keeps growing every year. I loved the pickup and the orange Ford Bronco would be perfect for Cruise week and then a week at the sand dunes on Lake Michigan. Maybe Harper will be ready for that in another year.😁

    1. Another day where Harper needs extra hugs and she’s hoping now that cruise week is over that the top can go back up on the Jeep!😁 It’s a great day for nostalgia and celebrating beautiful cars and their history and, of course, cruisin’ to great oldies on the radio!😁
