The Week In Seven Photos

It was a much needed gorgeous autumn morning where the world and worries were left on the shore

and the kayak glided into peaceful solitude without any boats or people in sight

and only swans and ducks for company.

The weather was perfect and for a giddy moment I could have joined this little guy dancing, but

before I could embarrass myself and tip over the kayak bopping around, a swan had claimed him as a dance partner.

I was so relaxed floating with the feathers that I almost forgot that strength would be needed to paddle back to

shore, but somehow, through my worst paddling on record, the kayak made it back safely with the glow of autumn still keeping the world at bay.Β

  4. Marvelous! And we all need a way to leave behind the worries of the world. What a time we live in. I was out there with you as you paddled over that beautiful water and saw all the beautiful creatures.
